Rob joined SPT Labtech as Chief Executive Officer in 2024 from GE Healthcare where he was President & CEO for EMEA, a $4B franchise with more than 6000 employees. During his 15-year tenure at GE Healthcare, Rob led several global medical device businesses, including the Respiratory & Sleep Care and Primary & Emerging Care divisions, and led the Asia Pacific business, based in Singapore. As a proven transformational leader, Rob has consistently delivered accelerated profitable growth through commercial and product development, combined with operational excellence initiatives.
Prior to GE HealthCare, Rob held engineering and manufacturing leadership positions at Unilever and Ford and was a Senior Strategy Consultant at Bain & Company.

Ian joined as Group Chief Financial Officer in April 2023, where he oversees the implementation of SPT Labtech’s financial strategy, collaborating with the Board and CEO to define strategic objectives.
With an extensive background in strategy, finance, and technology, Ian has worked across listed, employee-owned, and private equity-backed companies, all marked by periods of change and growth.
Before joining SPT Labtech, Ian served as Group Finance Director at LGC, one of Europe’s largest private equity owned life science tools businesses. Over his 6-year tenure, the group saw strong growth and completed significant M&A transactions, including over 25 acquisitions and 3 divestments, with the successful sale of the Group in 2020 in a multi-billion-pound transaction.
Ian is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a Biochemistry and Management degree from Imperial College London.

Kate joined SPT Labtech in April 2023 as Chief Operational Officer. In this role, she leads operational excellence and strategy execution across our sites in Cambridge (UK), California, Germany and China. Kate is also responsible for global Quality, Supply Chain and our innovative Grids business.
A qualified engineer, Kate obtained her MEng from Oxford University and later completed her MBA at INSEAD. She has a track record of driving transformational growth in large multinational manufacturing companies, most recently at ThermoFisher Scientific in Specialty Diagnostics. There, she directed operations across EMEA, including in the UK, Germany, Finland, and South Africa. Kate also serves as a Board Member of The Royal Mint.
Morten joined SPT Labtech in February 2024 as Chief Commercial Officer, where he leads all commercial activities globally.
He previously served as Chief Commercial Officer, IVD at Veracyte Inc. for three years, during which the company experienced significant growth through global expansion and strategic acquisitions. Prior to Veracyte, Morten spent six years at Agilent Technologies in various global leadership roles across Sales, Marketing, and Strategy & M&A, contributing to the growth of its $1.4bn Diagnostics and Genomics Group (DGG). He began his career in management consulting, advising large pharmaceutical companies on top-level strategy, M&A, and commercial strategy.
Since April 2021, Morten has served as a Non-Executive Director at the AI & Digital Pathology company, Visiopharm.
Joby has been part of SPT Labtech since its foundation within TTP Group over 20 years ago and throughout its growth journey, holding numerous positions in both commercial and technical leadership.
He has been instrumental in establishing SPT Labtech as a globally recognized provider of leading solutions and technologies for life science research, contributing to the conception and development of every instrument across the automated liquid handling portfolio.
In his role as Chief Technology Officer, Joby continues to steer the technical direction of the organization, driving towards the mission of making a real difference to human health.
