The BioMicroLab Scan, from SPT Labtech, is a camera-based 2D tube barcode reader designed forSBS format and certain Cryobox format 2D data-matrix tube labware. The Scan and its associatedsoftware read and decode the barcodes on the base of the tube and output the decoded barcodesin a variety of integration friendly file formats. SDK stands for “Software Development Kit”. Scan SDKconsists of a set of software functions used by SPT Labtech’s SCAN GUI software to operate Scandevices. It is also available for use by software developers to create their custom applications using
Scan devices.
