Services - 5.3 ESD ground (senders & receivers)

This should be connected to a grounded conductor (earth) to allow any potential build-up of static to be discharged should it form. A single yellow 1.0mm2 anti-static cable is provided. Connect this between the rear of the unit and a suitable ground point e.g. the earth pin of a mains plug. 

NOTE: These are for static discharge purposes only and are not safety earths. All the lab2lab equipment operates under SELV and is double insulated. All the PSUs used are double insulated.
