Starting the dragonfly designer will bring up a window like the one shown below:
1. Select 'Add new' in the components area (circled above.)
2. Enter the name of the first stock component. No database is used in the designer, so the
name doesn’t have to be exact.
3. Enter the stock concentration and units. For standard components, the pH and type entries
are currently only included for your records, not as part of any calculation.
The pH can be left blank. If a pH is included, it will be included in the component name elsewhere.
(To mix buffers to form a pH gradient, use a pH system.)
