The doors that provide access to the upper compartment are fitted with locking, interlocking guard switches. The interlock system cuts power to the grid and dispense robots while the doors are open. The guarding and interlock system is designed to protect both the instrument’s users and passers-by from the hazards associated with moving parts within the instrument.
The interlocks must never be defeated by means of modifying the guarding and/or electrical circuit. Doing so exposes you and others to mechanical hazards.
Do not attempt to open the access panels required for servicing. Only access chameleon by using the doors and drawer at the front of the instrument.
