Relocation
1. Unplug both the power and USB cables from the back of the instrument, before relocating it.
2. Push the input tray all the way back to the closed position.
Important: The input tray can move freely when the instrument is not connected to power
and it is advisable to secure the input tray with the shipping screw before relocating the
instrument. Refer to putting into storage for instructions on securing the input tray with the
shipping screw.
3. Relocate the instrument, following safe lifting practices. Use a cart or trolley where possible.
4. Refer to installing VolumeCheck to re-set up the instrument.
Putting into storage
1. Remove the power and USB cables from the back of the instrument.
Push the input tray all the way back to the closed position.
2. Replace the shipping screw and red tag on the rear side of the VolumeCheck instrument
Important: The shipping screw holds the input tray in place to prevent damage to the interior of
the VolumeCheck.
The input tray should be secured and not movable. Check the correct placement of the shipping
screw by gently pulling on the input tray. If the tray does not move, the screw is correctly placed.
3. Place the gray packing foam that came with your instrument at the bottom of the door and
carefully push the door down so that it is snug with the gray packing foam.
Caution: The VolumeCheck sensor is directly behind the door towards the bottom. Push the door
down from the right side to avoid touching or damaging the sensor.
4. Replace the shipping screw and red tag on the bottom of the VolumeCheck instrument
Important: The shipping screw holds the door in place to prevent damage to the interior of the
VolumeCheck.
The door should be secure and not movable.
5. Place the VolumeCheck into the clear plastic bag and place it into the smaller inner box as
shown.
Wrap the user manual in bubble wrap and secure in the inner box.
Put the cables down inside of the inner box towards the back of the VolumeCheck.
Rack Adapters (if provided) must be wrapped in bubble wrap and placed toward the back of
the box.
Put the extra green foam toward the front of the box.
6. Close the inner box.
Secure the inner box in place with the green foam spacer as shown, then seal the outer box
for storage
Note: Do not pack any loose items in the outer box
