      Advanced operations - Using Plate Data Creator

      Plate Data Creator is found under the Tools Menu. The Plate Data Creator utility provides a tool to create and maintain VolumeCheck calibration tables. Using the lab’s consumables and liquid
      handling instruments, unique calibration tables are created for each well plate (or tube rack) and sample type. On-site development of calibration tables allows for the most accurate VolumeCheck data results.

      1. Turn on computer and VolumeCheck instrument.
      2. Allow the VolumeCheck sensor to 'warm up' for 15 minutes.
      3. Double-click on the VolumeCheck icon on the desktop to start the VolumeCheck software.
      4. Select the Tools Menu, then Plate Data Creator.

      The Plate Data Creator has three data entry and display screens.

      1. Labware Information Tab
        Input your project / labware details (plate type and maximum volume are the minimum information required).
      2. Calibration Table Tab
        Functions to: input plate map, scan known volumes, generate calibration plot, and optimize curve matching for the calibration plot.
      3. Larger Curve Tab
        Presents a full page view of the calibration plot
