Advanced operations - Display Settings

To adjust the display settings, open the Display Settings window by navigating to Settings Menu,
Display Settings.

Use it to set the volume chart colors shown on the main processing screen.

You can also display the distance between the VolumeCheck sensor and the sample. In the above example, for a VolumeCheck 100, the Minimum Distance has been set at 10mm (the sensor is at least 10mm from the top of the well) and the Maximum Distance is 60mm (typical labware height is below 60mm so readings above this distance would be incorrect).

  • Adjust the Distance (mm) settings to correspond with the desired volume display settings
    outcome. Adjust settings in the red box above.

The volume displayed is based on currently loaded calibration table.

  • To quickly adjust the distance associated with volumes displayed, click the ‘Apply Auto Range’ button

Options

  • Levels: allows up to 10 levels of distance and volume settings to be displayed on the main
    processing screen.
  • Display wells as circles: allows toggling between chart values as circles or rectangles.
  • Display Liquid Level Bars: displays value of volume/measured data on the main processing
    screen view.
  • Display Liquid Level Value: displays value of volume/measured data on the main processing
    screen view
  • Gradient Color: to set up gradient, choose a color for the first level (top) and the last level
    (bottom), and then click on the Gradient Color button to allow the software to set the
    gradient colors.
  • Uniform Interval: automatically sets the gradient interval. Enter the first level distance
    measurement FROM: (10 in the screen shot above) and the last distance measurement TO:
    (60 in the screen shot). Then click on the Uniform Interval button to create equal levels of measurement from the number of levels chosen.
  • Auto-Range: helpful for use with the VolumeCheck to determine minimum and maximum
    range.
Click OK to exit this screen and save the settings.
