arktic is designed to be always on, to maintain sample storage conditions. Services such as dry air must be permanently connected and running as they are required to maintain storage conditions, even when no orders are running. Most arktics are configured to auto login and run the arktic application software automatically.
To start arktic
- Engage the main isolator - the arktic control system will initialise and start the refrigeration
system. - The PC will boot automatically and show the Windows login prompt. The system is shipped
with a default user account 'Arktic' with a password of 'arktic'. - To start the arktic application software, double-click on the arktic icon.
- When the software has established communications with the control system it will remain
Offline until you select the Play
button. This brings arktic online and
begins processing any orders which are present.
