The operator interface consists of one main view, the Orders Window, which consists of a list
showing orders in table form, in priority order (highest priority near the top).
The Machine Status bar shows the system status:
- Online – no pending job, system idle. If an order is submitted remotely, the system will
automatically begin to process it - Running – when processing a rack
- Error – if an error has occurred arktic will stop gracefully and wait for manual intervention
to resolve the error - Offline - arktic is paused
Click on Store Information to open an overview of arktic status information.
Click Load Rack to open the front hatch for loading or unloading a rack.
Click Play to take arktic offline / online. This suspends or resumes order processing.
Note: the Exit button (to close the software) is only available when arktic is offline.
Click Menu to select a different window, or to Exit arktic software.
