arktic requires an internet connection (Ethernet 100Base Tx Connection CAT5 cable). This is used for:
- Remote support
- Cloud telemetry data (which can also provide error report emails)
A remote access platform for reliance engineers is essential. Use of cloud telemetry data is highly recommended.
IMPORTANT: Failure to make provision for remote support will invalidate arktic's warranty.
Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
arktic uses Windows File Sharing to expose two folders which allow LIMS integration using an XML format:

C:\ProgramData\SPTLabTech\arktic\Reports
Building management system (BMS)
In addition to cloud services, arktic can be connected to your BMS. This can be useful in the event of network outage and can extend error reporting for the machine.
A BMS connection will only report refrigeration faults for the main store.
