Throughout the session, you may top up the LN2 in the cryogen bowl by pressing the snowflake button in the top toolbar. There are a small number of pages in the software where this button is not available, the main one being when the glow discharger is in use.
Once this button has been pressed, the following pop-up will appear:
If you allow the LN2 to drop to 55% or below and request the system plunge a grid, it will require you to top up the LN2 before plunging using the following page. The Load Nitrogen button can be used to open and close the cryogen drawer for the purpose of topping up the LN2. The Snowflake button will be disabled in this instance.
