About this app note

Our latest application note discusses how our mosquito® automated liquid handler was successfully used to miniaturize the preparation of DNA libraries for Illumina sequencing without compromising data quality. By reducing the volumes tenfold from the original protocol, scientists at the Centre of Genomic Research at the University of Liverpool have been able to increase throughput whilst benefitting from significant cost savings.

Download and read the app note to learn how:

  • automated liquid handling allows high-throughput sequencing core facilities to tackle the time and financial constraints of manual NGS library preparation
  • mosquito HV genomics allows for tenfold volume reduction in NEBNext Ultra II FS DNA library preparation without compromising data quality
  • the full workflow can be completed within a day, enabling larger projects with a greater number of samples and with less technical bias
